We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Engineer to join our maintenance team in London. As a Junior Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced engineers in maintaining plant, equipment, and building services across our client's sites.

About the Role:

As a Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Assisting experienced engineers with routine maintenance tasks, including fault finding and repair of equipment
2. Gaining experience in electrical and mechanical systems, including 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
3. Developing skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
4. Learning to use new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment
5. Assisting with risk assessments and ensuring safe and accurate completion of tasks
6. Working on mobile devices to accurately project and complete tasks from the CAFM maintenance system
7. Liaising with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
8. Supporting the maintenance team with ad-hoc duties as needed

1. Recognized or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering (or currently studying towards one)
2. Basic electrical and mechanical competences/qualifications (e.g. City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition)
3. Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
4. Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from experienced engineers
5. Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
6. Ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as required
