Junior Embedded Software Engineer

I'm recruiting for a small engineering business just outside Stroud who are looking to recruit a Junior Software Engineer on a permanent basis.

The company is well established and supplies its equipment globally. Currently, they have a skill-gap for someone to develop embedded code in C and C++ on microcontrollers at lower and application levels.

The size of the company means the engineer will have exposure to the full product lifecycle, along with interfacing a lot with mechanical, electronics, and other software engineers.

Great opportunity for those juniors/recent graduates looking for a hands-on development role.

ROLE:

Junior Embedded Software Engineer

LOCATION:

Stroud

SALARY:

Up to 40k

Skills required for the Junior Embedded Software role are:

• C / C++ experience
• Basic understanding of hardware interface
• Knowledge of serial comms/peripherals
• ARM/STM/PIC microcontrollers

Beneficial skills are:

• FPGA exposure
