Main Purpose Of The Role

This Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing business data and providing actionable insights to drive our growth. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data and analytics to contribute to a relatively young, very fast growing and thriving Group operating in the fitness apparel/fashion industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Collect, process, and clean data from various sources for analysis.
  2. Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, actionable insights and areas for improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain regular performance reports and dashboards.
  4. Respond to commercial queries that need detailed analysis of data.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven recommendations.
  6. Continuously improve and automate data collection and analysis processes.
  7. Research and implement best practices in data analytics and reporting.
  8. Assist in training and guiding team members in data-related best practices.

Requirements

  1. Strong mathematical abilities and analytical skills, ideally a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Very proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  3. Some experience with PowerBI is a plus but not required.
  4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a methodical and logical approach to data analysis.
  5. Ability to work under pressure, plan tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Exceptional attention to detail.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Ethical understanding of data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  10. A strong desire to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stone's throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
