Our Commercial Finance team is looking for a Junior Commercial Finance Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical exposure in a finance role while receiving a high level of ongoing support, ensuring success through in-depth induction, clear objectives, and a focused training & development plan.
The Junior Commercial Finance Analyst will support commercial decision-making through financial analysis to align structures and processes and provide recommendations to senior leaders to optimize and expand business performance.
This hybrid role will require 2-3 days onsite at our Stoke facility.
What your role will involve:
Perform financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends, benchmarking, and to increase financial performance
Support cost-analysis and price modelling
Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts
Effectively present findings and recommendations to the Commercial Finance Manager and Business Unit Leaders
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting in support of business initiatives and performance
Aid in budgeting and expenditure planning processes
Develop experience in ERP and business intelligence systems
What we are looking for:
Degree qualified in a relevant subject
Minimum 1-2 years experience either through internships, work placements, or employment in financial data analysis
Experience reviewing and analysing costs, trends, profitability, margins, estimates, and contracts
Experience using ERP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is advantageous
Microsoft Office Suite - well-versed in Excel especially
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
