Job summary
We seek experienced and enthusiastic doctors (CT1/2 equivalent) for fixed-term Acute Medicine positions.
The posts will start from May 2025 onwards (or could be considered for August 2025 rotation).
This post offers an excellent opportunity for candidates wishing to pursue a career in Medicine, either to apply for IMT or ACCS training in the future. There will be ample opportunities to increase your clinical experience and further develop other interests, such as teaching or audit and quality improvement. The successful applicants will have a clinical supervisor and be entitled to study leave.

Main duties of the job
The applicants will be given a choice to be based for the 12 months in the same department or to rotate between departments every 4 months, similar to Internal Medicine trainees. The selection of the department will happen on a first-come, first-served basis between the following specialties:
The post holders can choose between an acute on-call rota (A) or an unbanded job (B). A schedule example of both options is shown below.
The Clinical Fellows will be contributing to the work of the specialty-based team, including the assessment of inpatients on the ward and the attendance at Medicine clinics, and, when on-call, in AMU, AAA (Acute Assessment Area) and A&E.
