Junior CAD Technician (2D / 3D)
£25,000 - £28,000 + Training + Progression
Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Have you got 2D and 3D CAD knowledge and are looking for an entry-level CAD Technician role, working for a British manufacturer that offers extensive training to help you become a technical expert?

In this role you will be working from Engineering drawings to create 3D models for fabricators and 2D drawings for laser cutters. You will receive full training from the Directors, senior Engineers, and Technicians to hone your skills and become a fully competent CAD Technician.

This company manufactures steel and aluminum components that are used in temporary works. They pride themselves on their easy-going work environment and very supportive team. With 30 employees in this head office, you'll have plenty of assistance to help progress your technical ability.

This role would suit someone with 2D and 3D CAD experience looking for a position offering plenty of training and technical progression within a stable, easy-going, and friendly company.

The Role:

• Making 2D and 3D models from sketches and Engineering drawings
• Full training on unique manufacturing techniques
• 8am-5pm in a Barnsley based office

The Person:

• Junior CAD Technician
• SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience either from college or experience
• 2D and 3D CAD knowledge
