Junior CAD Technician required for a market leading consultancy who specialise in Transport Planning and Highways Design. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company who work on a diverse range of projects in both the private and public sectors. This company are truly committed to staff development and training.

This role would suit candidates with experience using AutoCAD. You need to have an interest in the highways and transport planning sector.

The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of 25 during an exciting period of growth. You will be responsible for supporting the production of highway designs, including calculations, drawings and specifications.

The Junior CAD Technician Role:

1. Support highway designs solutions in both private and public sectors
2. Preparation of calculations, drawings, cost estimates and specifications
3. Assist in highway schemes from feasibility, design and construction stages
4. Liaising with utility providers and service providers and gaining local highway authority approvals
5. Working on new roads, streetscape, new infrastructure projects etc.
