Junior CAD Technician
Location: Farnborough

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000

An opportunity has opened for a Junior CAD Technician to join a construction / Civil Engineering company based in Farnborough. The ideal candidate will be looking to take their first step in the Civil Engineering / Infrastructure industry and ideally will have experience with AutoCAD either in education or from a previous job.

The company will aim to expand on your current CAD Design experience or train you fully on AutoCAD and offer a variety of benefits including private medical insurance and an annual bonus.

Junior CAD Technician Key Skills:

1. Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
2. An interest and educational or industrial experience in Civil Engineering
3. Knowledge of engineering drawings and documentation
4. Keen interest in transportation or infrastructure engineering
5. Excellent analysis of drawings and calculations
6. UK Driving License

Junior CAD Technician Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and implement infrastructure solutions for Civil Engineering clients
2. Using AutoCAD for all drawings
3. Conduct accurate calculations to ensure drawings fit with plans
4. Write any documentation and reports
5. Liaise with senior members and other engineers
6. Ensure designs meet budget requirements
