Bennett & Game Recruitment are working with a well-established and market-leading consultancy that provides a comprehensive range of transport planning, highways scheme design, drainage, and environmental planning services. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior CAD Technician to join their Transport Planning Team based in Fleet.

As a Junior CAD Technician, you will assist with the design and implementation of various highway schemes from feasibility through to construction. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will be responsible for preparing designs, drawings, and specifications, liaising with utility providers, and securing technical approvals from the Local Highway Authority.

Salary and Package

  • Salary £24,000 - £28,000

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of highway schemes for both private and public sector clients.
  • Support the development of effective working relationships with key stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Deliver assigned tasks within agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Prepare reports, drawings, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Provide support to senior team members on project planning and financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong numeracy skills with a good understanding of spreadsheets.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • A professional and approachable manner when dealing with colleagues and clients.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
