About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our Procurement team in Aston Clinton. In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods, materials, and services to support the company's operational needs. Working closely with the Senior Buyer, you will manage daily procurement activities, monitor supplier performance, and contribute to the smooth flow of materials within the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working as a Jr. Buyer, or for an individual with an administrative background looking to step into a buyer role.

Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Buyer, your duties will include:
- Preparing and managing purchase orders, ensuring supplier acknowledgments and timely delivery.
- Expediting open purchase orders and maintaining accurate order books.
- Managing MRP and Kanban-driven order lines to ensure operational continuity.
- Resolving invoice queries and preparing reports to support departmental KPIs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance, and addressing any issues.
- Representing the purchasing department in production meetings to address material needs.
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand requirements and provide solutions.
- Promoting compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the organisation.
Who You Are
- Qualifications: GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent (BSc in Business or CIPS Level 2 a plus).
- Experience & Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organisational and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
