A leading consulting firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join their Strategy team.
This role plays a pivotal part in delivering market-leading commercial and technology strategies, supporting business development initiatives, and driving strategic partnerships.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across global markets, including Australia, the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia, contributing to key projects that shape the future success of the organisation.
The Senior Analyst will develop expertise across various strategic areas, including digital, data & technology, stadia, venues, infrastructure, sport, and major events.
The role requires detailed analysis, high-quality documentation, and effective client communication. As the position progresses, there will be opportunities to collaborate closely with senior executives and contribute innovative strategic thinking.
Business Development Support:
- Prepare pre-sales materials, including service proposals, pitch decks, insights reports, and market research.
- Support strategic partnerships by managing existing relationships and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Refine business development presentations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and high-quality visual appeal.
Strategic Consulting & Project Support:
- Assist the Strategy and Technology teams in delivering consulting engagements, strategic plans, and board reports aligned with client objectives.
- Conduct financial modelling, market analysis, and scenario planning to support business cases and decision-making processes.
- Provide well-researched, data-driven insights and recommendations to address complex client challenges.
Research & Analysis:
- Identify emerging industry trends relevant to sectors such as sports, entertainment, and technology, providing clear summaries for stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of documentation and reports, ensuring they meet internal and external stakeholder expectations for detail and accuracy.
Skills & Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in consulting, advisory, business development, or a similar role in a corporate setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating client-facing materials.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proven track record of solving complex problems.
- Ability to build relationships with senior executives and clients, demonstrating professionalism and strategic insight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with business development tools or CRM software is a plus.
- A highly organised, self-motivated individual, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
This full-time position will be based in the Melbourne CBD office 5 days per week and offers significant opportunities for professional growth.
