About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their Finance career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with our Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a love for numbers and a desire to grow and develop!

What you'll be doing

1. Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including processing invoices, expenses and bank reconciliations
2. Support accounts payable and receivable functions
3. Help manage and track subscription-based revenue and recurring invoices
4. Assist with payroll, pension and employee expense processing
5. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely financial reporting and data accuracy
6. Contribute to monthly close activities and support finance processes
7. Learn how Finance integrates with other departments (Sales, Customer Success etc.)

Skills We Need for This Role

1. Basic bookkeeping knowledge such as an understanding of accounting principles, including managing invoices and expenses
2. Familiarity with accounting software and a willingness to learn new tools
3. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
