Monday to Friday – 37.5 Hours

Purpose of the role

Provision of daily on-site medical devices repairs, preventative maintenance and asset management to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within a specified hospital location. Build long term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and superior customer service.

To be considered for this role you must have at least 1-3 years UK based work experience on medical equipment and hold a Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technologies, Engineering or Electronics.

Task list

1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines
2. Support the site manager / team leader as required and in achieving contractual KPI’s
3. Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines
4. Complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in procedures
5. Support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital
6. Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures
7. Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
8. Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
9. Schedule and complete workload for customers within assigned area
10. Maintain service documentation in line with business requirements
11. Meet with OEM service staff and management when required
12. Maintain tools and test equipment in line with Standards

Must Have Qualifications

1. Certified OEM trainings
2. Qualification in Engineering, electronics or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering, desirably at Bachelors level or experience

Must Have Skills

1. Excellent Customer Relationship skills
2. Excellent written and oral communication
3. Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, Excel
4. Superior integrity and discretion

Must Have Experience

1. 1-3 years UK-based experience on medical equipment
2. Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
3. Worked in clinical environment and involving patient communication
4. Familiar with a broad range of medical devices
