Junior Angular Developer
£28,000 - £32,000

My client is looking for a Junior Front End Developer (Angular 12+) to help maintain and improve their applications, working closely with the senior developers to deliver new features and modernise their system. This is a great opportunity for a motivated early-career developer to grow in a supportive team while working on both new and legacy systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop software for web (Angular 12+) and mobile platforms in an agile development environment.
2. Work closely with the back end team and project managers to ensure functional requirements are met.
3. Adopt best development practices and stay up to date with the latest techniques.
4. Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback and improve development skills.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs.
6. Work both independently and as part of a team on sprints/projects.

Skills and Experiences:

1. 1+ years of Angular 12+ experience.
2. Familiarity with TypeScript, RxJS and Angular Material.
3. Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
4. Version control experience using Git.
5. Strong communication skills with clear written and verbal English.
6. Positive attitude, willingness to learn and problem-solving mindset.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with AgGrid.
2. Understanding of AngularJS and legacy code refactoring.
3. Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes.
4. Basic familiarity with C#, .NET or MS SQL Server.
5. Experience working with RESTful APIs.
6. Unit testing (TDD).
