Junior Accountant required. My client is a well-established firm of accountants based in Nottingham and the East Midlands. Due to recent growth, my client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their welcoming and friendly team on a full-time basis.

Junior Accountant Job Overview

• General bookkeeping duties
• Accounts preparation
• Preparing client financial statements
• Completing VAT returns
• Assisting with payroll
• Adhoc self-assessment tax returns

Suitable candidates will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice and will be AAT qualified/part-qualified.

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team

Junior Accountant Salary & Benefits

• 20,000-25,000 basic salary (dependant on experience)
• 20 days annual leave + bank holiday
• Hybrid working after probation
• Early finish on Fridays
