Junior Accountant

The London office of a global General Insurer is hiring for 2 enthusiastic graduates or first job movers who are eager to pursue a career in Accounting and Insurance.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing financial reporting team, where you will receive guidance, mentorship, and all the training and development needed to be successful in finance.

You will support the team on a broad range of tasks, including testing and updating the statutory accounts, organizing events, managing administrative tasks, conducting accounting research, and preparing reports and presentations.

You must be:

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
• 6 - 12 months experience in a junior finance role is desirable
• Work experience or internship within Insurance or Financial Services is desirable
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in Accounting & Finance
• Possess strong analytical skills and enjoy manipulating large data sets
• Be confident with MS Office, including Excel
• An energetic, motivated team player who is keen to learn and get involved

Salary on offer is up to £35k + benefits and study support to qualify as an Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
