  • Fully qualified Joiner/Outfitter through recognized body.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred but not essential.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Supervisors to determine and prioritise workloads
  • Preparation of materials for assembly
  • Installation of insulation, linings, ceilings, floor coverings, doors, windows, furniture and finishings
  • Ongoing maintenance and repair of existing assets including completion of all associated paperwork
  • Co-ordinate with other disciplines to ensure activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide progress updates to Supervisor/Team Lead on job status
  • Carrying out offsite work/offshore work as required
  • Participating in the management of HSE within own area of responsibility
  • Delivering quality within own area of responsibility.

  • Interpretation of technical drawings
  • A well organised individual with an ability to prioritise
  • Excellent technical knowledge with proactive approach to problem solving
  • Good at analysing situations and informing decision-makers of any potential barriers to effective project execution
  • Effective team player and good communicator
  • Calm under pressure and effective in meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience from the oil and gas industry, preferable but not essential
  • Fully qualified Joiner/Outfitter through supporting body e.g. SQA, City & Guilds.
