You will be working at HM Prison Featherstone near Wolverhampton for a facilities management and maintenance company. This company ensures that all maintenance projects throughout the prison are completed to a high standard.

Your new role

An exciting temporary opportunity has arisen working within the Estates department within the prison sector at HMP Featherstone. We are seeking to appoint a reliable and trustworthy full-time Joiner to join our hardworking and friendly team. The job involves general maintenance and repair work such as making stairs, doors, windows, signposts, plastering and basic brick work for wall and ceiling repairs.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will be required to carry out a full clearance check which will be fully funded by the prison.
  • Act at all times in a timely and professional manner.
  • An awareness of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the duties which it places on an employee.
  • The successful applicant will be NVQ qualified or equivalent with a valid CSCS card.
  • IOSH working safely.

What you'll get in return
