Our client, who is a local housing provider, is seeking a qualified joiner to become an integral part of their responsive repair team.
Duties:
Completing Joinery repairs at our customers' homes and in our empty properties to a high standard
Ordering materials and managing stock
Responsible for managing a company vehicle and commuting to/from work in company vehicle
Ensuring all work orders are completed and minimise follow on work
Prioritise workloads daily to deliver an excellent customer service
Completing jobs right first time
Ensuring safe working practices in line with current Health & Safety policy & procedures
Maintaining a professional manner whilst completing repairs
Essential Criteria:
City & Guilds or NVQ2 or equivalent in Joinery
Full driving license
Experience of working in a customer focused environment
Experience of working in the construction sector
Good Health & Safety knowledge in the workplace
Willingness to carry out multiskilling in other trades
Desirable Criteria:
Social housing experience
Working in a property maintenance environment
Ability to use a PDA or electronic job system
Location: Burnley Salary: £31,973 p/a Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 36.25 per week
