NVQ Level 2/3 required

GBP19.13 per hour

To provide a professional, quality of craftsmanship and customer-oriented service to all internal and external customers.

To organise workloads and work both within a team environment and independently.

To work in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation, identifying areas for improvement and communicating these to your Line Manager for inclusion in the Management process.

Responsibilities

1. To carry out all aspects of joinery work on repairs, maintenance, refurbishment projects, and new builds including first fix and second fix joinery works.
2. To remove and replace timber gutter and carry out any necessary repairs.
3. To lift and fix carcassing timbers such as traditional roof timbers, trussed rafters, floor joists, and shuttering.
4. To lift and fix finished items such as windows, doors, door frames, boarding to floors and walls, sills, skirtings, and architraves on new builds or adaptations and kitchens.
5. To set out hip roof designs for traditional and non-traditional roofs.
6. To install PVCu windows and doors / composite doors.
7. To apply PVCu trims and finishes to new works as required.
8. To implement security measures to empty and vulnerable properties.
9. To work at heights using the necessary safety equipment.
10. To carry out Driver/Labourer duties as and when required.
