About the Role as a Student Support Assistant

As a Student Support Assistant at Activate Learning, you will work with young people or adults with a range of severe, complex, moderate learning difficulties, disabilities, and/or behavioural needs. You will provide support across various sessions, including GCSEs, Life Skills programmes, A-levels, and more.

We are looking for people who demonstrate patience and resilience, with the ability to help learners build independence and take more responsibility for their own learning. A collaborative working style and the ability to work well in a team are essential. Strong communication skills are required to work with tutors and ensure effective delivery of the education programmes, as well as to be part of a coordination team.
