Company Description

We're Together. For over 50 years, we've helped thousands of people, businesses and professionals unlock their property ambitions with our common-sense approach to lending. That means we take the time to understand our customers and find a property finance solution that works for them. Our door is always open, so we can often help when other lenders can't or won't.

Our large product suite of mortgages and secured loans gives us the flexibility to help in a wide range of specialist lending scenarios; including residential mortgages, short-term finance, buy-to-let, auction finance, development funding, and commercial and semi-commercial mortgages and loans.

Based in Cheadle, Cheshire, our 800 colleagues use their expertise and industry knowledge to help our customers throughout the UK, backed by the power of a £7.6 billion loan book.

Job Description

Join our team as a Graduate Risk Assurance Analyst, where you'll play a vital role in assessing the design and effectiveness of key controls to manage our Operational, Compliance, and Conduct risk exposures. You will conduct root cause analyses to identify drivers behind any control weaknesses and recommend effective control improvement plans and remedial actions. Additionally, you'll document your findings in comprehensive reports that highlight control weaknesses, associated risk exposures, and necessary actions. A solid understanding of key legal and regulatory requirements, including MCOBS and GDPR, will enable you to effectively apply these standards to our business activities. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in risk management while contributing to the integrity and compliance of our operations.

Throughout your programme you will be fully supported by dedicated Academy mentors, as well as Senior Leaders and previous Together Graduates during the course of the programme.

What our programme offers you:

  1. Exposure to lots of meaningful business projects and departments to give you a rounded understanding of the Financial Services industry and our business (this will depend on the needs of the business at the time);
  2. Volunteering opportunities which will give you the chance to have a real impact on our business and on the wider community;
  3. Industry recognised qualifications (where applicable) to support you with your career;
  4. A competitive salary with annual review and bonus potential, as well as access to our industry leading long term incentive plan, Together Shared Rewards;
