About WIG
WIG is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit membership body that champions collaboration between leaders in business, government, and not-for-profit sectors for the common good. We believe that developing leadership capabilities for cross-sector collaboration is the key to helping build long-term prosperity for everyone in the UK.
With a cross-sector membership base of around 250 organisations – FTSE and professional services companies, central government departments and agencies, local authorities, universities and significant charities - WIG has been convening members for 40 years through three key sets of collaboration-based activities:
- Strategic dialogue - to explore the latest public policy developments and share best practice;
- Leadership Capabilities - to develop the skillset, mindset, and understanding to enable current and next generation leaders to collaborate across the sectors;
- Evidencing what works - to provide insight into effective cross-sector collaboration in the real world, through reports, champions, benchmarking, and case studies.

- We are a believer in bias disruptors so all applications come through as anonymous, meaning that we do not make any screening decisions based on your name, age, or gender.
- If you have been shortlisted, you will be invited to a first stage 30-minute online interview with the Head of HR where we will learn about your motivations for wanting to join us and we will be discussing your skills and experiences and how they align with the requirements of the role. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about WIG.
- The final stage will encompass a panel interview where you will have the opportunity to meet your potential line manager and Head of department to find out more about your role and your team.
- Sometimes our candidate pools are super strong so we may decide that we want you to take up a skills assessment.
