This private day nursery is located in the heart of Littleborough and is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children within our local community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a contracted basis.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where children in Littleborough can learn and develop. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual and small group support to children, fostering their learning and development.
  • Observing and recording children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
  • Assisting with personal care routines, ensuring the children's well-being and comfort.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with the nursery team and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
  • Adhering to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Have a genuine passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with children and families in the Littleborough area.
  • Be a proactive and enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
  • Be able to use their initiative and work effectively under the guidance of the Room Leader and management team.
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
