Job Description

Red Bull Racing is at the forefront of Formula One, where cutting-edge technology meets top-tier performance. We are seeking a Jig Management Stores Person to provide assembly technicians with jig kits accurately and on time, as per technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To organise the store, so to have an accurate inventory and quick-to-access part identification and location.
2. To work with the assembly technicians to ensure they have complete jig kits ahead of time.
3. Providing feedback via Production Engineering on any manufacturing issues and improvement suggestions to reduce cost or lead-time.
4. Responsible for the delivery and collection of jigs to or from other manufacturing departments.
5. To maintain a good communication channel with the Jig Management Team Leader and Assembly Technicians, as well as the Procurement and Planning departments.
6. To utilise the parts management software to move parts electronically around the business.
7. To ensure that company policies and procedures are administered consistently, seeking advice where appropriate, e.g., time and attendance system, holiday bookings, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.

Key Requirements:

1. Good level of IT skills.
2. Confident verbal and written communicator.
3. Demonstrable ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
4. Understanding of Bill of Materials.
5. Conscientious and methodical in approach.
6. Ability to work in a high pressured, team environment and to be self-motivated to meet tight deadlines.
7. Ability to work flexibly when additional shifts are required.
8. Champion continuous improvement throughout the department.
