JavaScript Engineer - FX & Asset Management - Edinburgh (hybrid) - £60K

Are you a JavaScript Engineer with over 2 years of experience looking for your 2nd or 3rd challenging role?

We are delighted to be back working with this long-standing client of ours who has been completely re-shaping the FX trading space with their high-spec platforms utilized by leading FX trading companies across the globe.

Together, we are on the lookout for a talented and forward-thinking JavaScript Engineer to join this awesome team as they prepare for a whole host of projects lined up for 2025.

As a JavaScript Engineer, you can expect to:

1. Contribute towards the key front-end functions of various trading platforms.
2. Maintain and correct pre-existing pieces of code.
3. Closely follow best engineering practices at all times.
4. Contribute towards major architectural conversations.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

1. A degree in Computer Science or similar from a reputable university.
2. Over 2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
3. Professional exposure to TypeScript & JavaScript.
4. Knowledge of commonly used data structures and algorithms.

Salary-wise, we have up to £50K available plus a bonus of up to 50% and a long list of other useful perks and benefits.
