Role: Junior Java Developer

Location: Manchester/ remote

Salary: £25,000- £28,000

A fantastic opportunity for graduate software engineers or early Junior Engineers, looking for an environment that offers support, collaboration, and exciting projects to work with modern Java technologies.

This role is joining an ever-expanding team building cutting-edge platforms for their chosen industry, providing a unique service to their customers.

As a junior full stack Java developer here, you will be exposed, from the start, to commercial production and delivery of software development to live platforms. You will have access to several senior developers who will mentor you day-to-day and work alongside you on current new product development and releases.

You will be joining a tight-knit workforce that prides itself on collaboration and working to progress all of their people.

• Understanding of scripting and mark-up languages (JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, CSS, etc).
• Experience with relational databases.
• Ability to undertake research and self-study in a disciplined manner.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
• Desire to learn new technologies and ways of working.
• Strong communication skills and educated to degree level.

The position will involve working closely with product, test, hardware, graphics, and other teams based in the UK, providing great exposure and opportunities to upskill.
