Exciting Opportunity: Java Developer - Oil & Gas Industry

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract in London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects in the dynamic oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain desktop, client-server, and rich client applications using AWT, Swing, and JavaFX.
2. Conduct comprehensive UI testing to ensure seamless user experience.
3. Collaborate closely with Front Office stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions.
4. Apply advanced knowledge of Java 17, IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, GIT, Jenkins, and RESTful Web Services.

Nice to Have:

1. Familiarity with Spring Boot, JPA, Kerberos, AWS, Ansible, Docker, and OpenShift.
2. Experience with BDD and Cucumber.

Location:

London (Remote possibility TBC)

Contract Duration:

6 months
