Job Title: Japanese Speaking Office Assistant

The Skills You'll Need: Japanese, Admin, Customer Support

Your New Salary: £27,000–£30,000

Office-based, Monday to Friday. Potential for hybrid working after the probation period.

Permanent (3-month probation period)

Start: February 2025

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Japanese Speaking Office Assistant – What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide comprehensive support for insurance operations
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Manage incoming mail and email logs
  • Maintain invoice and billing records
  • Prepare, send, and scan documents
  • Acquire underwriting knowledge and perform swift insurance assessments

Japanese Speaking Office Assistant – The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Professional fluency in Japanese and business-level English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle numbers and documentation
  • Previous working experience in Japan, preferably in insurance, medical, or administrative roles
  • Excellent multitasking and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
  • Willingness to adapt to detailed work involving numbers and foreign languages
