Join Our Team as a Japanese-speaking Couples Therapist

  1. Position: Japanese-speaking Couples Therapist and/or Family Therapist and/or Psychosexual therapist
  2. Location: In-person: Fulham, Kensington, Wimbledon, Sloane Square, or Online
  3. Contract Type: Independent Contractor

What We're Looking For:

We would like to hear from therapists who hold:

  1. Registered membership of UKCP or BACP. Family Therapists will also need to be registered members of AFT, and Psychosexual Therapists must be members of COSRT.
  2. Hold a core counselling/ psychotherapy qualification.
  3. Strong communication skills in English and Japanese. Native or bilingual-level proficiency in both languages.
  4. Japanese-speaking Therapist experienced in offering Individual and Couples Therapy. Additional Psychosexual and/or Family Therapy experience is desirable.
  5. Confidence in working with various clinical presenting issues of varying degrees.
  6. Ability to envision and navigate the therapeutic process, managing clients’ presenting issues with insight and experience.
  7. Motivation and commitment to our client group and ongoing development.
  8. Professional indemnity insurance, including worldwide cover for online sessions.
  9. Capacity for high responsiveness to emails, referrals, and booking notifications, adhering to Leone Centre policies and procedures.
  10. Experience with online scheduling systems is preferred, but don’t worry if you’re new to it—full training and ongoing support will be provided.
  11. Unwavering dedication to confidentiality and a solid grasp of UK GDPR principles.
