Are you a proven sales professional with commercial vehicle sales industry experience already, or experience in developing new business from any industry, who wants to be part of something special? Hendy Group are looking for an additional field-based IVECO Van (Light Vehicle) Sales Advisor to join our high achieving team in Eastleigh. In this role you will be joining one of the most successful and reputable in the retail automotive industry.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

  1. Actively prospect for new business, whilst developing business and maintaining commercial relationships with existing customers.
  2. Plan a work schedule to identify potential customers and then qualify them.
  3. Work a sales territory where you will find leads with the freedom to manage your own diary.
  4. Help customers with demonstrations and ensure the customer has a licence to allow them to drive the vehicle.
  5. Identify vehicles required and obtain an order including the agreed delivery date and sell finance and extended warranties.

About You:
  1. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and build relationships in all situations.
  2. Experience in working a patch/sales territory (essential).
  3. Well organised with great time management skills.
  4. Resilience with the ability to work well under pressure and to targets.
  5. Ability to influence and negotiate in a professional manner.
  6. Passion for service excellence and an ability to continuously delight customers.
  7. Hold a UK Driving Licence.
