We are seeking an agile and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our IT Services and Telecommunications team to drive revenue growth as well as lead the team with an expectation to grow this part of our business stream.
You will have a proven record in B2B technology sales, specifically IT, telco, software and SaaS sales, with an excellent understanding of the Managed IT Services solutions space.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and leading a team of sales professionals, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the short, mid and long-term sales strategy and execution to achieve revenue targets and increase the customer portfolio. Selling into Toshiba's 3000+ customers, your team will be tasked with developing new revenue streams and growing new business.
In addition to your basic salary, this role will come with uncapped commission and genuine potential to earn in the six figure bracket.
Key Accountabilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth. - Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. - Sales Operations and Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to optimise sales processes.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
Utilise CRM (salesforce) software and sales analytics tools to track and manage sales activities. - Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with marketing and customer success teams.
Ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Contribute to marketing initiatives based on client feedback. - Market and Industry Insight:
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences. - Commercial/Financial:
Meeting personal and team KPIs and targets as issued by the Head of Sales.

You should have:
- Managed IT sales expertise: proven success in sales of IT, telco, software and SaaS sales.
- Business development experience: demonstrable experience in business development with a track record of achieving sales goals and growing own portfolio and bringing on-board new clients.
- Excellent technical knowledge of managed IT services sales.
