Probe Technical Recruitment are recruiting a very exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a unique manufacturer based in Leicester. You will be part of a team of Maintenance Engineers delivering maintenance support and activities to maintain site compliance, improve the safety, quality and efficiency of all assets.

The benefits package for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role include:

• Salary depending on experience £40,000 - £48,000
• There are 40 hour weekly rotational shift patterns in place covering earlies, lates and nights covering both sites. (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am).
• Annual leave of 31 days inclusive of bank holidays (rising to 32 after 5 years’ service and your birthday off after 2 years’ service)
• Company sick pay (after successful probation) of 8 weeks

You must be a qualified Engineer, City and Guilds or equivalent trained dual skilled with strong skills across both mechanical/electrical disciplines. Due to the varied equipment they have across both sites, qualifications, skills and experience we are mainly looking for include electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, belts (this is not an exhaustive list).

The key areas of focus and duties for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role include:

• Extensive experience in service driven production/process industries
• Ability to identify and implement actions to improve/maintain productivity.
• To work with production teams to optimise the production processes of mixing, coating & converting to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Provide as necessary support for the installation of new parts and equipment.
• To perform repairs to plant and equipment in accordance with best practice.
