• £72,000 - £80,000 per annum

Our client is a forward-thinking multi-academy trust with 29 primary and secondary schools, a teaching school hub, and a school-centred initial teacher training provider across Oxfordshire, Swindon, and beyond. As our IT Technical Director, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering IT services across the trust. You'll lead a skilled IT team, support digital transformation, and ensure our schools have robust, secure, and innovative IT systems.

• Lead IT strategy and service delivery across all RLT schools.
• Develop and implement Google Workspace for Education across the trust.
• Oversee the IT support model, ensuring a high-quality service for all schools.
• Manage IT assets, contracts, and supplier relationships.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new schools into the trust.
• Lead a collaborative and high-performing IT team.
• Ensure IT security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support trust-wide education objectives through innovative IT solutions.

They're looking for a strategic IT leader with a passion for education and a strong technical background. You should have experience in IT management within a multi-site organisation and a proven ability to lead digital change. About you:

• A degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience deploying Google for Education at scale.
• Knowledge of Windows, ChromeOS, networking, and cybersecurity.
• The ability to communicate complex IT solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• A full UK driving licence (travel between schools is required).
