The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Support technician to join an established, forward-thinking and responsive team within the Mission Systems Business Stream.

Day-to-day, you’ll help to enhance an existing busy team, bringing continuous professionalism and knowledge to the service provided to our prestigious customers.

  • Provide first/second line support for bespoke/niche systems.
  • Support on incident management.
  • Work with the developers on system commissioning.
  • Provide provision of technical advice and asset/system management.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, with occasional travel.

Essential Experience of the IT Systems Support Technician

  • Windows administration.
  • A methodical approach to tasks and the ability to follow process, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and application of IT system build and development.
  • Sound judgement capabilities, to inform decision-making processes (sometimes under pressure) based on a variety of information.
  • A working knowledge and application of incident management and handling.
  • The capability to operate within PU status.

Qualifications for the IT Systems Support Technician

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Enhanced Developed Vetting (EDV) security clearance for this role.
