We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Technician in Hertford to work for a 40+ million turnover office technology business. This role comes with a fantastic progression opportunity for an IT professional who is looking to expand their knowledge and progress their career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing technical support via the company helpdesk to a wide variety of clients across the UK.
2. Troubleshooting a wide variety of IT systems, including hardware, network, and infrastructure faults.
3. Configuring new user IT/Print equipment.
4. Networking devices and providing general support with any technical related queries.
5. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure issues are being resolved in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

1. Proven experience in hardware and software fault diagnosis and resolution.
2. Desire to continually enhance job knowledge and skills (Ongoing Training Provided).
3. A high degree of enthusiasm and self-motivation.
4. Experience or qualifications in IT related disciplines (Microsoft, Active Directory, VMware, Infrastructure etc).

Desirable Skills

1. Experience in an IT support role.
2. Experience in 1st/2nd Line Support.
3. IT college or degree related course.
4. Microsoft certifications or equivalent.
