Job description

IT Support Technician - Norwich

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician for a well-known client based in Norwich.

How does the day-to-day look?
  1. Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  4. Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
  5. Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment.
  6. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
  7. Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues.
  8. Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  9. Perform administration tasks within multiple software products.
You will have:
  1. Experience in troubleshooting software within a Windows desktop environment.
  2. Ability to diagnose and resolve IT hardware technical issues.
  3. Solid understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN).
  4. Previous experience in IT help desk service.
  5. Good knowledge of printers and multifunction devices.
  6. Ability to transport IT equipment using own transport.
  7. CompTIA A+ and N+ certified (Desired but not essential).
  8. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  9. Strong team member.
  10. Excellent customer care and quality assurance.

Schedule:

37.5 hours to be worked flexibly across five days (Monday-Friday).

Salary:

£25,000.
