Job description

IT Support Technician, permanent, full time position, fully office based Monday to Friday in central Staplehurst. We’re continuing to grow and need a qualified and tech savvy IT Support Technician with Active Directory, Office 365 and helpdesk support experience to join our friendly team. There is travel within the UK, so you’ll need a full driving licence and be a car owner.


You’ll be the first point of contact for our sites across the UK for all IT issues & requests – and as part of this, you’ll travel to our sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. It’s a brilliant opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician who really loves their tech, and is looking for that next step in their career. It’s essential you have previous experience as an IT Support Technician and good knowledge of a range of different IT systems and software programs and good people skills as well as a love of all things tech!


Responsibilities For IT Support Technician

  • Being the first point of contact on the helpdesk to provide IT support for approximately 150-200 devices, across multiple sites.
  • Assist with equipment moves, setups and configurations.
  • Keep the IT asset list updated.
  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks across systems, PC and server based.
  • Work on new projects assigned by the IT manager.
  • Create, manage and maintain user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory and Office 365.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to frequently travel to sites.
