Job description

  • Position: IT Support Specialist
  • Salary: £25,000 to £30,000
  • Location: Shoreham-by-Sea
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • 25 days annual leave + your birthday off, learning and development courses

We are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to join a software company based in Shoreham. You will be supporting the CS Manager and dealing with the day-to-day management of infrastructure and providing service desk support. Ideally, you will have knowledge and a strong level of understanding of SQL, Unix, and AWS (Amazon Web Services).

As an IT Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving support cases
  • Managing patching and endpoint security
  • Supporting cybersecurity initiatives
  • Assisting with the daily management of infrastructure operations
  • Server migrations

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with AWS
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Unix
