Position: Volunteer IT Specialist
Location: Tees Valley Area (Remote & In-Person)
Commitment: Flexible (Minimum 4-6 hours per week)
Duration: Ongoing (Minimum 3-month commitment preferred)

About Connect360
Connect360 is a community-driven initiative that supports legal migrants with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) in the Tees Valley area. We provide employability support, financial literacy, well-being services, and social inclusion programs to help migrants integrate and achieve stability in the UK.

Role Overview
We are looking for a tech-savvy and experienced Volunteer IT Specialist to support Connect360’s website development, IT infrastructure, and data management. You will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s digital systems function smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Website Development & Maintenance: Improve and maintain Connect360’s website for a professional online presence.
  2. IT Infrastructure Setup: Help configure and manage essential digital tools, including cloud storage and CRM systems.
  3. Data Security & Management: Ensure proper data handling and security in line with UK data protection regulations.
  4. Technical Support: Provide guidance on IT-related challenges, ensuring smooth operations for staff and volunteers.
  5. Process Automation: Identify and implement digital tools that improve workflow and efficiency.
  6. Training & Documentation: Provide IT training to team members and create guides for easy reference.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Strong experience in IT support, website development, or data management.
  2. Knowledge of Wix, WordPress, Google Workspace, Airtable, or CRM systems is a plus.
  3. Understanding of data security & GDPR compliance.
  4. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  5. Passion for using technology to support social impact initiatives.
