Location: Birmingham (up to 40% remote)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Excellent Benefits
Working Pattern: Full-time, 35 hours/week (flexible & hybrid working available)

A global legal organisation with a strong UK presence is seeking an experienced IT Service Lifecycle Manager to join its collaborative and forward-thinking IT function. This role is central to ensuring IT services are designed, transitioned, and operated effectively, with a strong focus on service governance and continual improvement.

What you'll be doing:

1. Lead the full lifecycle of IT services, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and alignment with business needs.
2. Manage the Change and Release Management processes, including facilitation of Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
3. Oversee the service portfolio to ensure accuracy, strategic alignment, and business value.
4. Coordinate and support service transitions, working across technical and non-technical teams.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service quality, compliance, and performance.

What we're looking for:

1. Significant experience (7+ years) in IT Service Management roles, including 3+ years in leadership or managerial positions.
2. Strong background in ITIL v4 practices - particularly Service Design, Transition, Change, and Release Management.
3. Hands-on experience with enterprise ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
4. Proven ability to manage services and teams in complex, matrixed environments.
5. Confident stakeholder manager, capable of influencing at both operational and senior levels.
