Our client, a prestigious professional services company, is seeking an IT Information Security Analyst to join their team. With a long-standing reputation and expertise in complex matters, our client offers a collaborative consultancy experience to their clients.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate significant experience in an Information Security Analyst or similar position, with around five years of industry experience. Key technical skills include SIEM (security information and event management), SDR (security data retention), EDR (Endpoint Detection), and similar tools within a professional or corporate environment.

In addition, the candidate should have a strong understanding of compliance matters, data protection, GRC, and related areas across an organisation. Exceptional communication skills within a professional services environment are essential.

The successful candidate should be familiar with security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, and Cyber Essentials. Experience in investigative work, vulnerability analysis, and monitoring is highly desired. Knowledge of Penetration Testing would also be valuable.

Flexibility to travel to client sites is required, although there is a good mix of hybrid working involved. A sound understanding of the cyber security and InfoSec landscape is necessary. Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA, CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CISA, or similar qualifications would be welcomed. While a degree would be advantageous, confidence in a corporate setting is prioritised.

A good understanding of computer networks and data protection is essential. The candidate must be willing to undergo any necessary security checks.
