IT Quality Assurance Engineer

The IT Quality Assurance Engineer ensures all external and internal requirements are met through a blend of manual and automated testing. They identify problems, prioritise them, and approve necessary rework or corrective actions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Devise procedures to test, report, and manage project quality issues.
2. Work with Senior Management to agree on sign-off thresholds.
3. Create test scripts and plans using manual and automated techniques (e.g., Selenium, Katalon Studio).
4. Lead testing communities and subject matter experts on test procedures.
5. Collect and analyze test data to facilitate proactive solutions.
6. Document and communicate test results and statistics regularly.
7. Manage testing tools and reporting tools for efficient test execution.

Skills:

Essential:

1. Experience with Legal Practice Management implementation (e.g., Elite 3E Cloud).
2. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, black-box, white-box testing).
3. Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Katalon Studio).

Desirable:

1. BCS/ISTQB Testing Certification or equivalent.
2. Advanced SQL Server queries and scripting experience.
