You will define resources, lead procurement efforts, secure project teams, manage budgets, oversee risk management, and ensure effective governance. Managing stakeholders successfully is key to this role, and you are likely to be dealing with a wide cross-section of people from across National Trust. We work extensively with Third Parties, and you’ll be working closely to deliver change alongside them. Each team has an allocated budget and you’ll be responsible for efficient spending, tracking costs against the budget and ensuring it is not exceeded. You’ll follow appropriate governance as you lead the Delivery teams to make changes, using internal based on industry standard principles. There will be the opportunity to manage projects both using change frameworks and Agile framework, as well as the more traditional waterfall delivery method. You’ll be responsible for ensuring risks are tracked, managed, and escalated when appropriate.
