IT Project Manager – Newcastle – 12 month fixed term contract

3 days a week on site

VIQU are working with a leading international organisation who are looking to hire a project manager to manage a large laptop and network project they have planned.

The role will involve orchestrating the delivery of multiple large projects. This will include two separate projects: a laptop refresh initially, replacing old companywide hardware and distributing new equipment followed by a network refresh. The ideal candidate must have managed similar projects on a large scale. This is not a hands-on role and would involve working closely with third parties to complete the projects.

Essential requirements of the IT Project Manager:

1. 2+ years of experience running similar large scale hardware and network refresh projects.
2. Previous experience liaising with third parties to complete projects.
3. Strong communication and organisational abilities to manage multiple projects.
4. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
5. Relevant project management certifications are an added bonus.

1. Lead and manage end to end IT projects, ensuring timely completion and that they are within budget.
2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and effectively communicate project requirements to all stakeholders.
3. Keep track of project delivery.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third parties to ensure project requirements are met.
