Firmdale Hotels is seeking a talented and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in London. The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in leading and managing various IT projects across our hotel properties. From implementing new technologies to enhancing existing systems, the successful candidate will drive initiatives that improve efficiency, enhance guest satisfaction, and support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project management best practices.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and consultants, to support project delivery.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project performance and implementing lessons learned.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and driving project delivery.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems integration, and software development processes.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
