Scope of Role

We are looking for an accomplished and meticulous IT Procedure Writer to join our team on a contract basis. Reporting to our Global Head of IT, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and refining IT procedures following ISO27001:2022 standards.

We ask that you have a substantial understanding of information security protocols and excellent technical writing skills to meet project deadlines.

You will be located in our London HQ, on a hybrid work schedule on a 6 month, full-time contract.

As an IT Procedures Writer, you will:

Develop IT Procedures

1. Write and document IT procedures that comply with ISO27001 standards.
2. Ensure all procedures are clear and easily understood by IT end-users.
3. Collaborate with IT and security teams to gather necessary information and insights.

Review/Update Existing Procedures

1. Conduct in-depth reviews of existing IT procedures to ensure compliance with ISO27001.
2. Identify areas for improvement and update procedures accordingly.
3. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and reflects current best practices and regulatory requirements.

Ensure Compliance

1. Work with the ITRS Security Manager to ensure all IT procedures align with ISO27001:2022 standards.
2. Review audit findings and assessments to verify compliance.
3. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in compliance and security measures.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 3-5 years of experience in technical writing within the IT domain.
2. Experience with ISO27001:2022 standards and documentation.
3. Experience with information security principles and best practices.
4. Proficiency in technical writing and documentation tools.
5. Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards.
