We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and accelerating our IT strategy, both in terms of hardware and software. You will be responsible for managing IT resources across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust data protection, and implementing disaster recovery strategies.


As the IT Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of the IT strategy, aligning it with business goals while driving the development and standardisation of IT processes, policies, and performance metrics. You’ll optimise the design, development, operation, and support of IT systems, overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and support of hardware, software, servers, and operating systems. You will prioritise projects, define timelines, and ensure the regular review of backup and disaster recovery processes.


In addition, you’ll be responsible for planning, enhancing, and implementing the IT infrastructure strategy. You will also review and amend company policies and standard operating procedures related to IT infrastructure. Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, you’ll develop a technical strategy that meets the company’s evolving needs, while managing escalated technology issues and creating streamlined support workflows.


Budget management will also be key, as you will oversee department operating and capital budgets, manage expenditure, and provide variance reports when necessary. You will track project budgets, monitor IT asset utilisation, and assess new vendor resources to ensure high-quality, cost-effective partnerships. Additionally, you will implement vendor SLAs, maintain strong relationships with all vendors, and develop vendor assessment tools if required.


To be successful in this role, you’ll need a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Computer Sciences or Information Technology. Proven experience managing an IT department and delivering a robust infrastructure is essential, along with a solid understanding of GDPR, Data Security, and Disaster Recovery strategies. Experience within a Manufacturing, IT infrastructure management, enterprise systems architecture, and IT vendor management is also required. You should be comfortable working with the Korean team and possess knowledge of operating systems, network administration, and the Technology Business Management (TBM) Framework.
