IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Fully Remote

CRG Recruitment are currently recruiting for one of our clients an Infrastructure Project Manager to come on board to deliver end to end Infrastructure upgrades and new technology.

The type of projects you will get involved with include:

1. Acquisition & integration/onboarding
2. Site moves and changes (structured cabling, switch installations, extensions to buildings, and associated procurement/vendor SoWs)
3. New Greenfield / Brownfield Site IT Infrastructure
4. BAU Infrastructure and CAPEX projects

I am looking for an experienced individual to be responsible for planning, execution and successful delivery of Infrastructure lead projects or sub-projects of IT projects, where infrastructure stream is required. The PM shall lead projects, plan resources and govern those projects according to strict deadlines and within set and agreed budget.

Please note this role is remote with some UK travel.

Infrastructure Project Manager key responsibilities will include:

1. Facilitate the definition of the project scope, requirements and deliverables
2. Define project tasks (work breakdown structure) and resource requirements
3. Manage the project budget in line with business expectations and budgetary commitments
4. Develop, control and communicate the project plan, timeline and milestones
5. Track and report project deliverables to the project team and stakeholders
6. Manage Risk, Issues and Changes on an ongoing basis
7. Ensure that any deliverables requiring support are handed over to the relevant teams
8. Ensure that project audit responsibilities are met
9. Close the project, ensuring lessons learned are documented
10. Follow applicable policies, framework, standards and guidelines that have been identified for the particular project
11. Responsible for acquiring resources (internal and 3rd party, if required) and co-ordinating the effort of the team members in order to deliver projects according to plan and budget
12. Assemble and co-ordinate project team (Business, IT and External)
13. Negotiate with resource owners and as required, ensure that project targets are provided for project resource
14. Identify Roles and Responsibilities for the project team
15. Where 3rd party contract negotiations are required, the Project Manager will work with the relevant procurement team to ensure that procedures are followed
16. Ensure that appropriate project team training is planned for
17. Identify and liaise with Key Stakeholders to provide applicable governance for the project
18. Identify and agree participation of Project Sponsor
19. Where required - creation of the Project Board and Project Steering Groups
20. Regularly monitor and report progress to all stakeholders
21. Provide communication to all project members and stakeholders

My client is offering a salary of up to £60,000 to £65,000 plus benefits depending on experience.
