What Will You Be Doing As An Infrastructure Engineer
The Infrastructure Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of computer systems and networks. This position requires a strong background in system administration, including user management, software installation, and troubleshooting. As a key player in the team, the Infrastructure Engineer will mentor and collaborate closely with the Junior Infrastructure Engineer to drive the success of the team and IT operations.
- Administer and maintain computer systems, networks, and security.
- Perform tasks such as user management, software installation, and backups.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Document technical procedures and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies.
- Coach and support less experienced team members.
- Provide technical support to end-users as required.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (desirable).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system or network administration.
- Expertise in system administration, user management, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Microsoft platforms (including Azure).
- Experience with Azure portals (Intune, Defender, O365, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, security, and firewalls.
- AWS experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
